Pinkerton & Laws awarded another hotel project at the new mixed-use development, University Crossroads, located in Blacksburg, VA. After clearing mounds of dirt where the Holiday Inn once stood, P&L has started construction on the first awarded hotel, Hyatt Place. Now preparing ground for the second hotel, which will be an Extended Stay Residence Inn by Marriott. The extended stay Residence Inn will have 126 units/6 stories.
The Hyatt Place will have 123 units/6 stories. Plans for the hotels include large banquet facilities and conference space able to accommodate more than 300 people. In addition to the hotels there will be an 18,200-square-foot retail shops and restaurants.
